Chrome/Brave extension for signing e-invoices with a hardware token (QES)

What is денар.мкд Signer?

денар.мкд Signer is a browser extension that enables signing e-invoices with a qualified electronic signature (QES) via a USB hardware token. The extension communicates with a native host program installed on your computer.

Requirements

-Google Chrome or Brave browser
-USB hardware token (SafeNet eToken 5100, ID Prime MD, or another PKCS#11 compatible device)
-Drivers for your hardware token (provided by the certificate issuer)

Step 1: Install the extension

If you have not already, install the extension from Chrome Web Store:

Step 2: Install the native host

Windows

1.Download the installer: ⊞ Download for Windows (64-bit)
2.Extract the ZIP file
3.Double-click denar-signer-install.exe
4.A confirmation message will appear after successful installation

macOS

Open Terminal and run:

curl -fsSL https://xn--80ahd6aq.xn--d1alf/install-signer.sh | bash

Step 3: Verify

Restart your browser completely (close all windows). Then click the extension icon - if the installation was successful, you will see a green dot and the native host version.

Troubleshooting

-Restart your browser completely (close all windows) after installing the native host
-Make sure the hardware token drivers are properly installed
-On macOS, if you see "Permission denied", run: chmod +x denar-signer denar-signer-install

Note: If you do not have a hardware token, you can use a software certificate (P12) directly through денар.мкд without this extension.
